The group to which Punto Med S.A.M. belonged, started its operation in 1968 with a gas cookers factory, GAZECO S.A., located in Padova, Italy, and a refrigerators and air conditioners factory, DELTEX S.A., located in Corsico (Milano), Italy. Due to the always increasing cost of labour in Italy, our Group's policies started changing in the late 70s / early 80s and it was decided to transfer all manufacturing activities in foreign countries.

Over the years, PUNTO MED has also successfully established various Joint-Venture factories in various parts of the world for the production of washing machines, gas cookers, deep freezers, bottle coolers, etc.
